Thanks for the inspiration cuz

My cousin who lives in the United States sent me a FB messenger a few days ago, which prompted this post today.

Let me first say that I am blessed to have such amazing family members scattered throughout North America. This particular cousin of mine, is truly one of my faves! Her and her husband are adventurous, risk takers, yet calculated and level headed. They see the beauty and fun in life. They are really inspiring to me.

This is how her messahe started:

« Hey I’m sure you’re swamped with well wishes but wanted to send you some from the US. Not sure if we told you but bought a business in Mexico with our good friend down there. I want you to know that once your healed and I know this one’s going to take a while, I want you to

come with us, be it a music festival or Mexico but dude let’s make shit happen ! »

This was the best message I had read in a while. It got me pumped up for the futur. Of course I would love to spend time with these amazing people!

She continued by saying « Life is a gift, our ability to get out an see the world is a fucking gift.”

This was so refreshing to read! It uplifted me and I’ve been thinking of that constantly since.

I hope to rebuild myself back up physically to be able to travel and enjoy the things life has to offer. Yes money is tight and will be tight until I figure out what my next step is but, I dream of being financially comfortable enough to take care of my mom and my kids. Its all I want. If ai have more, I will surely and gladly spread the love even further. Everyone needs a chance. Anyone can do wonderful things, especially when money is not a constant source of stress.

My goal is to share my story with the world, in a conference format, where I share the physical and mental challenges of having to go through numerous open heart surgeries and bounce back everytime throughout my life. I am also writing a book that will accentuate this project. This is my goal. It is my new focus. My main focus. I will achieve it.

This might bring me some financial liberty as well but most of all, its gonna allow me to tell my story, inspire people, meet new people and be inspired.

Its just funny how, along the way. We can beat ourselves up internally, almost to the point of not believing in ourselves, yet, one person, be it a family member, a friend whatever, one person can revive that spirit and motivation. One person can inspire us to continue walking the road towards our goal. One day…. It will all come together

My life has been filled with hospital stays and my body has been beaten around on the operating table. But my soul is intact. Every single time I go through ooen heart surgeries and or procedures, I fight.

I fight as hard as I can to bounce back and live to tell the story. Sharing these experiences has given me more positivity than the hardships that come with going through them. I once mentored a young teenage girl for a year while she was prepsring to go through an open heart surgery. She had immense anxiety and fears but, by having someone to talk to, a big brother of sorts, it helped her get through it. And she is doing good now! There have been so many inspiring moments that have come out of me sharing and talking about my own challenges. It helps put things in perspective for some people going through rough times. It gives then hope and drive to push through it. It is so rewarding for me to experience that.

Bottom line is, my calling in life is to help uplift people and motivate their success. My calling is to empower those who need to be reminder of their strength and power. I intend on doing just that moving forward, as soon as I can bounce back physically from my own ordeal. I’m getting there slowly but surely. I will get there sooner than later. Resilience and fight is key. Not giving up.

Whatever sit is ur set out to achieve, dont give up. If you are going through a hard time mentally or physically, know that you are worth pushing through and brewking the barriers.

Musch Love

Sending you good vibes
