Don’t get me wrong…

Although I have many fears and anxieties as I prepare for this open heart surgery, I also know that I am strong and resilient.

This blog is a place where I want to be as transparent as possible. From my rights to my wrongs, my flaws and my worries, to the positives, the victories and accomplishments in my life. I told myself, « if I’m gonna write about my life, my perspective, I’m gonna be as honest and transparent as I can be. It is a value that I have always held onto, from the soul.

Today was a good day! I woke up earlier than usual (around 9am), I got ready and made my way to Casino NB for a poker tournament. Although I didn’t make the final straw, I enjoyed the experience and look forward to other tournaments in the future. I really enjoy playing poker. I’ve never been a very social person and I’m not a drinker, so for me, going out in bars to socialize is not my jam. I prefer going out to a pool hall, or a poker room, where there is still an element of socialization, but not just sitting at a table drinking and doing nothing. I know some peope see pool halls and poker rooms as a place for degenarates and that’s fine by me. I just think that even the roughest looking ones in those places have stories and are humans just like you and I. Thise stories are sometimes much more interesting than others who consider themselves more « normal » as per society and class. Everyone has a story! Even the ones who have made big mistakes. I appreciate this type of environment and find comfort in socializing with the ex-cons, the hustlers, the construction workers, the millionaire entrepreneurs of all classes and cultures. Its inspiring in many different ways. And I am curious so, when I do relax and come out of my shell, I often find myself in some pretty deep and fascinating convos.

Anyways, the day went on and I got eliminated fron the tournament eventually. I still had alot of fun eventhough I didnt make it to the final table. After that, I made my way to the airport to pick up my daughter, my son and their mom arriving from NYC. It was nice to ser then and they were full of awesome stories about their trip to the big apple. Tv shows, tall buildings and most of all, they were VIP guests at country music superstat Morgan Wallen’s stadium show at Met Life Stadium. They has an amazing experience. Morgan and his team hosted them like royalty. One to remember!

Its now 5pm, my daughter is resting snd I just lied down myself, to watcb a bit of Netflix.

I am startinh off my last week with a better outlook. I am sooooo grateful for life!

Thats it for now

Much Love and Good Vibes your way
